Old Guys Rule! | Wisdom, Laughter & a Lifetime of Walking with Jesus

This week on the Family Style Podcast, we sit down with three of the “old guys” — Dick Murdock, Dave Negri, and Jim Bourland — for a conversation filled with laughter, stories, wisdom, and lessons learned over a lifetime of following Jesus.

These guys have experienced a lot of life. They’ve raised families, built businesses, served in ministry, walked through successes and failures, and most importantly, continued walking with the Lord through many different seasons.

We talk about some of the things they’ve learned along the way, the importance of relationships and mentorship, lessons they wish they had understood when they were younger, and what it looks like to remain faithful as the years go by. And, as you might expect with these three, there are plenty of laughs and stories mixed in!

There is tremendous value in listening to those who have walked the road ahead of us. This episode is a reminder that the older generation has something important to give — experience, perspective, encouragement, and wisdom that can only come through years of walking with Jesus.

So maybe the old guys really do rule!
