COMMUNITY OUTREACH MINISTRIES


"for I was hungry and you gave Me food; I was thirsty and you gave Me a drink; I was a stranger and you took Me in"  Matthew 25:35 (NKJV)

-Feed My Sheep
A community outreach to the homeless.  Feed My Sheep has various activites through the year that we as a body can be involved in.  It is our desire to help meet the needs of the homeless in our community and reach them with the love of Christ through hot meals, message bags, chothing drives, among other activities.

-Senior Care Ministry
This ministry meets bi-monthly and serves some local nursing homes by providing a Sunday Worship Service.

-Silas Prison Ministry
Silas is a ministry of Calvary Chapel, a nationwide non-denominational Christian fellowship focused on the joy of worship through music and the strength of the word of God through bible study. We bring a church service, consisting of a worship service with contemporary and traditional worship and praise music and a bible study to 3 different prisons within Desoto Correctional complex in Arcadia, FL the 1st and 3rd Sunday every month.


HOME FELLOWSHIPS

Calvary Chapel of Palm Harbor Home Fellowships are taught by some of our Elders and church body.  These meetings are designed to deepen our fellowship together by enhancing friendships, applying God's Word, encouraging one another, and sharing communion.  Please go to our Home Fellowships/Bible Studies/Leaders link on the front page of our WEBSITE for more information and locations.
         

HOSPITALITY MINISTRY

"distributing to the needs of the saints, given to hospitality"  Romans 12:13 (NKJV)

We have many ministries under the umbrella of Hospitality.  A good way for the body to serve each other and get to know one another.  

 -Cleaning Crew Ministry
This ministry is designed for service to the body by taking care of our facillities.  The cleaning crew is vital and you serve in 6 month rotations. 

-Dinners 4 Eight
Hosted by various people in our church body.  Sign up sheets located at the Info Table.  Dinner's 4 Eight are monthly events.

-Marriage Fellowship
Once a month meeting for married couples; fellowship, food and encouragement.  If interested in attending a Marriage Fellowship, sign up is at the Info table.


-Meal Ministry
Temporarily serves meals to those in need during a family illness, welcoming a new baby or has a loved one in the hospital. email at haven4nine@tampabay.rr.com

-Welcome Ministry
This involves being a greeter or usher prior to a church service.

 
MEN'S MINISTRY

"As iron sharpens iron, So a man sharpens the countenance of his friend."

The Men's Ministry is focused on developing in men a greater passion for the things of God with a special emphasis on the roles God has given them.  Our desire is to provide men the opportunity to grow through thier walk with the Lord through the study of God's Word, with homework and discussion, by prayer and accountability, thereby drawing men closer to Jesus and to each other. 

-Helping Hands Ministry
Men of our church body meeting the needs of the body by providing help in minor or major repairs within in their capabilities.

-Last Fridays
Monthly men's meeting on the last Friday of each month.  A time of encouragement through fellowship, prayer and teaching.

-Men's Discipliship Ministry
Led by Pastor Brett, we currently meet on Thursdays nights at the church building. 

-Men's Prayer Time
Meets every Wednesday evening, 6pm at CCPH 


MISSIONS CAFE 16:15

And He said to them, "Go into all the world and preach the gospel to every creature." Mark 16:15 (NKJV)

The Cafe' 16:15 was established to promote fellowship as well as provide additional means of support for the missionaries we serve.  Our cafe' is opened before, after and between worships services on Sundays and Wednesday evenings.  We serve coffee, cocoa, espresso drinks, juices, sodas and bottled water on Sundays and Wednesday Evenings.


PRAYER MINISTRY

"...praying always with all prayer and supplication in the Spirit, being watchful to this end with all perseverance and supplication for all the saints;"

-Prayer Chain
This ministry is our church wide prayer chain using email.  If you have a prayer request or would like to be involved with our prayer ministry you can email our prayer chain at Prayer Chain
.  If you do not have a computer and have a prayer request please contact the church office and we will gladly place your prayer request on the prayer chain.

-Open Prayer Times
Sunday Mornings- 7:30am
Wednesday Evenings- 6:00pm (MEN)
Wednesday Evenings- 6:00pm (WOMEN)

-Prayer Counselors
Made up of men and women with a desire to be available after service for prayer.  If you need prayer after a service time, please see one of these servants at the front of the santuary.  They are there for you.


WOMEN'S MINISTRY

"that their hearts may be
 encouraged and knit together in love, and attaining to all  riches of the full assurance of understanding to the knowledge of the mystery of God, both of the Father and of Christ, in whom are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge."  Colossians 2:2-3 (NKJV)

The Women's Ministry is designed to enourage you in your walk with the Lord.  For more information on our Women's Ministry and upcoming events please check our website.

Women's Ministry 

-First Tuesdays
Our women come together the First Tuesday of each month for a time of encouragement and sharing.  This ministry varies each month depending on the focus for that month. 
 
-Women of Wisdom "W.O.W."
This group is designed for the older more mature women in our church, but all women are welcomed.  Meets on Monday mornings from 10:30-12:00.  This group is going through a book called "Respectable Sins" by Jerry Bridges, biblically based. Every first Monday is "brown bag" lunch day, bring your lunch for fellowship time.

-Working Single Women
This group meets as a weekly Bible Study at 7pm on Wednesday evenings at CCPH.  Childcare is provided.

-Bible Study- Discipleship Group
This women's group meets every Thursday evening at 7pm at CCPH.  This group is currently FULL

-Bible Study- Discipleship Group
These ladies meet Saturday mornings at the home of Rachel Saul for prayer, bible study and fellowship.  Please check our CCPH Women's Website for more info.  currently FULL

-Women's Prayer Time
Meets every Wednesday evening, 6pm at CCPH.


WORSHIP MINISTRY
Our worship ministry is led by Raquel Allfrey, with alternating teams.  If you are interested in volunteering your time for our Worship Ministry please contact our church office for Raquel's contact information.

YOUNG ADULT BIBLE STUDY

 "Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.  Till I come, give attention to reading, to exhortation, to doctrine." 1 Timothy 4:12-13 (NKJV)

The Young Adult Bible Study is designed for the young married or single adults just starting out after high school or college.  These small groups are to encourage one antoher and get to know one another better though casual Bible Study in a host home.  The Young Adults are currently meeting on Tuesdays evenings for more information check our link on the front page of our website marked, HOME FELLOWSHIPS/BIBLE STUDIES/LEADERS.
